This Spring 2009 semester has been quite weird for lack of better terms. Whether it be the fluctuating weather or hectic schedule, I am unable to find my rhythm.
The weather has had its highs and lows. Today it is quite toasty for February. And the past two days have been beautiful. This is after some of the most snow and lowest temperatures I can remember. I cannot complain about either cases, however, because they both come with great gifts: Warm weather allows me to walk to class in shorts and a sweatshirt where the extreme cold allows school cancellations. Both good things. But, not all is good in the world of John.
With the new semester came new courses which demand much more time. And although I am learning and pushing myself, I enjoyed last semester much more when I only had to attend two classes a week (two of my classes ended early and the other class was online).I am paying for all the time I spent on my couch last semester.
As for the IUPUI Men's Soccer team, no one should worry. We are hard at work lifting 3 times a week, doing conditioning 2 times a week, and playing indoor soccer on Friday's. Once again, we will have a tough team and a shot at the conference championship so come out and support us if you can (ask me and I will let you know when upcoming games are)!
