I am finally Blogging!

Hello everyone! This is my first blog and I am very interested in posting about IUPUI and the IU Kelley School of Business. First, I will say a quick something about me. My name is Nathan Davis and I am a junior at IUPUI and I am majoring in Accounting and Finance. I am the President of the Accounting Association so I will be mentioning things about that on campus. I am also going through honors I-Core right now so have some insights on that. I also love sports, especially football and the Dallas Cowboys, so if you want to talk them, just let me know.

I initially started my freshman and sophomore here in high school, Perry Meridian by the way, in engineering and realized at hated it. This was great because it took me away from wasting time in college with that major. I then started in a Business academy there and took 2 accounting classes and really enjoyed it. I decided that I wanted to major in business, particularly accounting, and that is what initially made me look at IUPUI.

When I realized everything that IUPUI, and in particular the Kelley School of Business had to offer, I knew this was where I wanted to be. The price was great, the location of being in downtown Indianapolis was great, and the ability to get involved on campus was also great. I knew that that IUPUI was where I wanted to be and offered everything I needed to be successful.

Well over the next few months I will try and give everyone what little wisdom I have and what experiences I have been through. I have seen some very interesting things throughout my 3 years here at IUPUI and now I realize that there are some things that I wish I had done differently that I hope you will be able to learn from. For now good luck!
